How to Read the Results

One row per seat

Each row is one purchased seat. A purchase that bought several seats at once produces one row per seat, so the counts do not collapse or double up.

The amount does not include discounts

Important: Purchase Amount is the price of the line item before coupons and discounts are applied. A discounted purchase shows the amount before the discount. For the total a Learner actually paid after discounts, use the Ledger.

Amounts are recorded at the time of purchase

The amount is stored when the purchase happens. Changing a price later does not change what this report shows for earlier purchases.

Segment Name reflects the current setup

Segment Name shows the Segment attached to that Price Option now, not the Segment attached when the purchase was made. If you retag a price option to a different Segment, earlier rows show the new Segment.

Refunds are excluded

Refunded and reversed purchases do not appear. The report shows purchases that are still active.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don't the totals match the Ledger?

Purchase Amount does not subtract coupons or discounts, and refunded purchases are left out entirely. Use the Ledger for the amount actually collected.

Why is Segment Name blank on some rows?

Those purchases used a Price Option with no Segment attached — a price available to all Learners.

Why does an older purchase show a Segment it did not have at the time?

Segment Name reads the Price Option’s current Segment. Retagging a price option changes what earlier rows display.

Why is a refund missing?

Refunded and reversed purchases are excluded so the report reflects active purchases only.
