Buying Seats for Your Organization - Genius CE & Enterprise

Overview

To buy Course seats on behalf of an organization, you will sign your organization up, choose Courses, buy the number of seats you need, and pay for them together.

Your Learners then create their own accounts and enroll themselves, and your purchase covers what they enroll in.

Signing Up Your Organization

From the site, click the Sign in link. You will be taken to the Organization Creation Form, which asks for your organization's details and your own (as the representative from the organization).

  1. Open the sign-up link you were given.

  2. Fill in the form.

  3. Submit it.

Once logged in, you may complete your purchase.

Buying Seats

When making a purchase, you are buying a number of places for a Course. You are not asked who is taking it, so you can buy before you know who is enrolling.

  1. Sign in and open your organization's catalog.

  2. Find the Course you want.

  3. Set the number of seats.

  4. Add it to your cart, and repeat for any other Courses.

  5. Go to checkout and pay.

Volume Pricing

Your organization may offer a lower price per seat as the order grows. Where that applies, the price adjusts as you change the quantity — there is no code to enter.

What Happens After You Pay

Your purchase makes the Course available and covers its cost. Each of your Learners then creates their own account and enrolls themselves, and your purchase covers what they enroll in.

What to Send Your People

Ask whoever set your organization up for the Learner sign-up link, then send your Learners two things:

  1. The Learner sign-up link, so their accounts are attached to your organization.

  2. The name of the Course, and the Section, you bought for them. Or allow them to browse everything available.

Steps Your Learners Follow

  1. Open the Learner sign-up link.

  2. Create their account.

  3. Find the Course in the catalog.

  4. Enroll. Your organization's purchase covers the cost on behalf of the Learner.
